In early 2004 Operation Andrew entered into a partnership with the YMCA of Middle Tennessee for the purpose of strengthening the observation of the National Day of Prayer in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Together our organizations have held a major public outdoor noon day observance of the National Day of Prayer on the plaza of the Gaylord Entertainment Center every year since 2004. In addition, the two organizations have worked closely together to encourage local YMCA centers to have successful National Day of Prayer observances in cooperation with local churches.

In the fall of 2005 this partnership was expanded to plan an annual community Thanksgiving service, “Giving Thanks Together” at the historic Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville .

An exciting partnership was established between Operation Andrew and ThriftSmart stores in the fall of 2006. This exciting business venture exists to, 1) provide jobs for those who are marginally employable, 2) to provide high quality merchandise at a very reasonable price, and 3) to give 100% of the profits to support the work of various missions. One of the many benefits of this partnership is the provision of gift cards for pastors and local churches to use to help those in their communities who are in great need.
